Monte Vista Elementary School at 37420 Via Mira Mosa, Murrieta, California.

Great school with a very active PTA and activities for the children and families, including a fall festival and Hot Chocolate with Santa during the holidays. Kindergarten classes are half days with students attending either morning or afternoon sessions. For the rest of the students, Mondays are normally short days with dismissal just after 1pm with a 2:45pm dismissal the rest of the days. Teachers are very friendly, and we had great experiences with all the teachers that taught our children. The emphasis on building good character qualities in addition to the academics is wonderful. Only reason I rated the school 4 stars is that the parking lot is on the smaller side (but there are plenty of cross guards and parking monitors to ensure people transit safely during the busiest times of the day) and that I wished kindergarten was a full day lime what my family experienced overseas instead of just a half day. Still I highly recommend this school.
